Pump Industry Australia (PIA) has signed a Mutual Cooperation Agreement with a peak national irrigation organisation.
PIA and Irrigation Australia recognised that they have much in common in the areas of technical interest, training, standardisation, energy and environmental related issues applicable to irrigation pump products, and that commonality will lead to mutual benefits for the members of both organisations through cooperation and sharing of information.
The agreement provides for each organisation to hold a non-voting affiliated membership of each other to enable attendance at meetings and the sharing of information in each other’s publications.
Both organisations will seek opportunities to identify other areas of beneficial interest during the term of this agreement which will be reviewed on an annual basis.
