Australian Industrial Marketing (AIM) is holding a two-day, level one training course in Perth on 11 May that teaches the ins and outs of pump technology.
Day one includes a session on pump types and construction from 9am–1pm, followed by a session covering pump systems and selection running from 1.30–5pm.
Day two covers pump operation and fluid parameters from 9am–1pm, followed by a session on testing, installation and troubleshooting which runs from 1.30–5pm.
Assignments will be given out for each session, which will be the basis for assessment at the end of the course.
Certificates will then be presented to successful candidates.
The $400 course fee includes course notes supplied on an usb, but participants should also bring a notepad, pen and calculator for in-session examples.
