Extreme weather conditions in Tasmania have caused serious damage to utility infrastructure, which has impacted the performance of water and sewer services across the state.
TasWater has advised customers that the storms caused several power outages across the North West of the state which impacted several water and sewer treatment plants across Tasmania.
