Tender: chemical dosing unit for Tasmania sewer treatment plant

TasWater invites tenders from appropriately experienced civil works contractors for the Ti-Tree Bend STP Chemical Dosing Unit project in Invermay, Northern Tasmania.

TasWater is aiming to improve the odour emissions from the Ti-Tree Bend STP by installing a chemical dosing unit. Construction of the chemical dosing unit involves the construction of a piled bunded concrete hardstand and loading bay, supply and installation of pits, pipes, valves and supply and installation of chemical dosing pumps and chemical storage tanks. Additional works include the associated electrical and SCADA, which is to be undertaken by nominated subcontractors. Civil contractors experienced in piling and process projects are encouraged to submit a tender.

Tender documents will be available from 12.00pm Monday 5 August 2013 at the Customer Service Centre, TasWater, 36-42 Charles Street, Launceston or can be downloaded from the tenderlink website https://www.tenderlink.com/taswater/ A pre-tender meeting and site inspection will be held at Ti-Tree Bend STP, Gilmore Street, Invermay Tasmania on Tuesday 20 August 2013 at 11:00am

Tenders for the above contract close at 2.00pm on 28 August 2013 at the office of TasWater, 36-42 Charles Street, Launceston.

Completed tenders must be enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the tender number, and addressed to The Tender Box, TasWater, PO Box 745, Launceston 7250 or placed in the tender box at the Customer Service Centre, TasWater, 36-42 Charles Street, Launceston by the above closing time or alternatively electronic tenders must be submitted via the project specific electronic tender box at https://www.tenderlink.com/taswater/ prior to the advertised closing time.

The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.
