WEG Australia appoints new Sales and Marketing Director

WEG Australia, an Australian company specialising in motors, drives, controls and transformers, has announced the appointment of Richard Walker as Sales and Marketing Director and as a member of the Board of Directors.

Richard Walker replaces Djalma Wolf, who has served as Sales and Marketing Director of WEG Australia since August 2011, with over 24 years within the WEG group. WEG Australia would also like to congratulate Mr Wolf on his newly appointed position as Director of WEG Energy products in Germany.

Richard Walker brings more than 30 years of relevant industry experience to his new role having previously served as National Business Partner Development Manager of WEG Australia Pty. Ltd.

Mr Walker`s experience ranges from in-field commissioning of large machines to brand development, as well as front-line operations; establishing ‘green-field’ business operations and mutually beneficial agreements with end users and service providers.
