The Wilson Inlet in Denmark (WA) has been reopened for recreational activities following a recent wastewater overflow.
WA Health advises that a section of the inlet was closed following a wastewater overflow upstream of the Zimmermann Street Pump Station.
The most recent water testing shows microbiological levels in the affected area have returned to normal and, as a result, water-based recreational activities can resume.
Warning signs advising residents to avoid swimming and fishing in the area will now be removed by the Shire of Denmark.
