Planning is currently underway for the upgrade of the existing Hobson Street Wastewater Pump Station and the installation of a new wastewater pipeline along Marine Terrace, Geographe (WA), as part of a suite of works to upgrade Busselton’s wastewater scheme.
The proposed works would include:
- Installation of approximately 350 metres of 100mm diameter wastewater pressure main along Marine Terrace, from the intersection of Armitage Drive and Marine Terrace to the Anthony Road Pump Station.
- Replacement of the existing wastewater pump station on Hobson Street with a new pump station. On completion, the existing pump station will be decommissioned.
- Installation of odour controls at both the Hobson Street and Anthony Road Pump Stations.
The proposed works are scheduled to start in February 2015, pending approvals, and will continue for approximately 4 months.
